Paulson and Burnthe8track

Wow... To be honest, we hate playing after bands like Paulson. They are always so damn good. I mean, really. That show was one of the best we've played in town. We didn't have the best set, Tom broke a string in the last song and his voice kept cracking when he screamed. Steve had a fewe timing issues. But, hey, nobodys perfect.

Burn the 8 track was also really good. Starlite motel rocked despite technical issues. They only have one show left so you better be there! It is december 10th (i think) at cd warehouse. It is free! Their new full length, ex libris will be out on that day! GO GO GO GO GO!

we don't update our stuff; any of it.

Yeah, well. We don't really have all that much going on. We are finishing up our christmas song to be put on the Just Me Records christmas comp II. We will be playing Paulson tomorrow night. To be honest, I am a bit worried, because of the way Euphora is so damn uptight about how loud it is. I mean, HELLO! It is a rock concert! The owner actually had some big dude go up and turn off "Off the Roster's" guitar and bass amps. That shit won't fly with a national band like Paulson and Burn the 8track. Not that we'd put up with that bullshit either. Anyway.

We are SUPPOSED to start working on our full length in January, and it is SUPPOSED to be done by April. We are woriking hard on writing our cd and we hope you guys like it. We will be playing one or two new songs tomorrow night at Euphora (if they don't turn us down) the show starts at 9;30 so don't be late! I think we play first. It is all ages and costs 5 dollars.

Okay, so, . . . um, sorry we haven't updated anything, the member that usually does all this has died. Or at least we think he's dead. Every time one of us goes over to his house he is laying in his bed and he doesn't move, or talk. Maybe he's sleeping. Well, either way it doesn't matter.

We can't play too many shows for a while due to the dead guy. It takes to much Ju-Ju to resurect someone more than once a month. NO, really it IS TOTALLY his fault. Like, yeah.

I am sure you are all losing respect for us if you have actually bothered to read this so, This will be the end of this update. PEACE, LOVE, and SUMMER SAUSAGE!

Update!

We have made some new friends, and lost some old ones. One of our label brothers, Starlite Motel, has decided to call it quits. We will get to play a few more shows with them before they part ways to pursue other dreams. We wish them luck in what ever they decide to pursue. Also, the Anchorite 4 has broken up, we also wish them luck!

As for new friends, we will be playing a FUCKING AWESOME SHOW with RORY and SALEM!!!!! If you don''t know who these guys are, get off your ass and check them out... NOW! We will also be playing some shows with One Pump Chump (the ska-punk legends hailing from Gainseville) some time in the near (but not near enough) future.

If you are on our street team, we will have some cool stuff coming up, just for you! Our street team members only page will be up soon!

From now on we will have two book, cd, and movie selections picked by Tom and Anthony that we think you should check out! This months selections are:

The book''s of this letter are:
"Battle Royale" by Masayuki Taguchi and
''Survivor'' by Chuck Palahniuk

The CD''s of this letter are:
Oingo Boingo''s ''Skelletons in the closet''
and
Coheed and Cambria''s ''In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth vol. III''

The movies of this letter are:
''City of Lost Children''
and
''Farenhiet 9/11'' or any other Micheal Moore movie

We have a new purevolume site that should be up soon, it is listed under our name: Mighty Apollo. We also have a live journal: Mighty Apollo. We will have a new song out very, very soon (it was on the first 50 just me records comps) and we will be on a comp from a Canadian ska label. More details on all this and more as soon as we have them! Thanks you guys for all the support, and we know we haven''t been playing many shows lately, but we are finishing writing our CD and will be playing more shows VERY soon! So get ready for us! You guys are the reason we do this!
): later :)
